Here you get to know me

As a diploma physicist, I developed a new cryptosystem in the 1990s as part of my IHK award-winning thesis using a nonlinear system with chaotic properties. This led me to my first job at a cybersecurity consulting start-up, where I was able to gain experience as a project manager (hardware and software for global players).

My next positions were: Head of Security Product Compliance for IT security products (NIST FIPS140, Common Criteria, EU Signature Directive) and subsequently Business Unit Manager for advising financial service providers on cybersecurity.

At a global player in the automotive industry, I was able to gain experience in governance for information security and data protection, as well as being responsible for the implementation of these topics in a central area with a five-digit number of employees and global responsibility for 18 years.
My experience within the internal IT service provider in various functions (project-program management, organizational change management, field service, IT sales & marketing) complements my expertise.

Finally, I worked as Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Governance “Information Security and Product Security” for a globally active mechanical engineering company.

I hold a PECB ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certificate and am a certified data protection officer (udis e.V.).
